ASEA and Arctic Chiropractic have coordinated to provide discounted chiropractic care and massage for ASEA members. Arctic Chiropractic has a management agreement with ASEA so that member services are covered for union members who are covered by the ASEA Health Benefits Trust.
This benefit is extended to family members and dependents of ASEA members who receive health insurance coverage from the ASEA Health Benefits Trust.
This benefit saves ASEA members from bearing out-of-pocket costs for visits to Arctic Chiropractic clinics. Arctic Chiropractic has more than 30 locations across the state.

Dear ASEA Local 52 Union Member,
Hi, I’m Dr. Joel from Arctic Chiropractic. I’m pleased to inform you that Arctic Chiropractic has partnered with ASEA Local 52 to be a preferred chiropractic and massage provider for ASEA union members. As a preferred provider, we have agreed to waive the co-insurance portion of your insurance benefits and accept only the insurance paid portion as payment in full for your care with us. You DO NOT have that out of pocket cost when you treat with us!
How did this come about you may be wondering? This has been in the works, as a perk of your union membership, for almost two years! One of your union representatives brought the idea up to me one day at the clinic. As a lifelong Alaskan, I thought it was a great idea, so we both began the process of getting our leadership and legal teams involved. After several emails, meetings, and phone calls over the course of months, the deal was finalized this spring!
The reason I’m writing you this letter is that it has come to my attention, very few hard-working ASEA union members know about our partnership. I have a few patients in the clinic who are union members, and NONE of them knew about it. However, they were all thrilled when they found out their coinsurance was waived due to this recent benefit addition! Most of them had met their small deductible for the year already and they have been able to get treatment for their aches and pains, old painful injuries, and new onset pain and symptoms at no out of pocket cost!
