To donate, submit a completed leave slip to the Division of Personnel & Labor Relation Payroll Supervisor for the department in which the donee (recipient) is employed. Please read the procedure above for complete details.
Business Leave
The Union maintains a Business Leave Bank for purposes of compensating bargaining unit members for work absences due to contract negotiations and formulation, meetings, conventions, training sponsored by the union, attendance at arbitration or other hearings as witness for the union, and other like purposes.
Emergency Leave
Emergency Leave is a voluntary program to help members whose leave balance is not adequate for an absence from work due to a major medical event. Participants donate a day of personal leave to enroll and may be asked to contribute up to one day of leave annually to sustain the Emergency Leave Bank balance. Upon donation of the day of leave, the member will have access to the bank. This is an excellent way to help your fellow union members as well as to provide an element of security for yourself.

Injury Leave
The ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 Injury Leave Bank was established in the 2004-2007 GGU Collective Bargaining Agreement as an aid to workers who have been assaulted while performing their job duties.
