Dear ASEA Member,
The ratification vote has concluded. ASEA members have ratified a successor contract (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2028) by 95% (a vote of 2,715 to 150). We are pleased the membership has overwhelmingly voted to approve the new collective bargaining agreement, acknowledging the hard work of our Contract Negotiating Committee (CNC) and the gains we achieved through collective bargaining over the past year. We could not have achieved this result without our members’ steadfast support, wisdom, and engagement throughout this process. Thank you for attending worksite meetings, observing negotiations, joining our town halls, speaking with co-workers, and, ultimately, voting to approve this contract. Our collective solidarity and strength as a labor union made a successful contract possible amidst an incredibly challenging political and economic landscape.
We’re really proud of what we accomplished in this agreement—it’s a solid step forward. While we didn’t get everything we set out for, we’ve laid the groundwork for future wins. Though negotiations are over, it doesn’t mean the work has ended. With your continued support and voice on the issues that need attention, we’ll be in an even stronger position next time around.
