Anchorage Food Bank Volunteer Event (RSVP Req'd)

Anchorage Chapter Members,

On Sunday, February 16th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, please join us in our participation of the Community Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) Senior Food Box Build. Member volunteers will gather together to build food boxes for low-income elders. The CSFP supplements the diets of qualifying recipients by providing nutritious USDA foods every month. A free ASEA t-shirt will be provided to member volunteers, while supplies last. -- Volunteers are not required to bring anything but themselves
-- Light physical activity, including bending and lifting up to 30lbs may be required
-- Warehouse location: 2121 Spar Ave, Anchorage
-- No open toed shoes, sleeveless shirts or children under 10 allowed per facility policy
